Out on the town ...

Sooo, Mark and I finally went out ... it's been like a year but whatever! Haha! We had a blast! All us girls got ready together (for the most part) while the guys sat around bitching at us to hurry up. It was me, Mark, our friend Robert, Rikki, Tricia, Paige (all neighbors), a friend of Rikki's (I can't seem to remember her name) and a bunch of Paige's friends!

First we went to Texas Jive to get some grub and listen to some of Rikki's friends who are in a band - I don't know what the band is called! Then, we went over to RBar to listen to Tricia's coworkers band, Crimson Soul. They were really really good! It made Mark and I wonder why they aren't famous yet, haha! =)

Drank quite a bit of wine before we left, then drank quite a bit of beer while out at the bars. I didn't take shots but most everyone else did. I can't handle my liquor well ... AT ALL! Tricia and I had an interesting experience with walking to the store ... "I like your toe ring" is all I'm going to say about that. And I found out that I can't run well in heels.

But anyway, we had a great time! Tricia has more pictures that I haven't gotten on to my computer yet because I was being stupid last night, but hopefully I will get some up. I just realized I don't have any pictures of Rikki up here!

I haven't been up to too much lately - just going to school, working, and tanning. Mark and I are blessed with awesome neighbors - I haven't met one that I do not like ... and I know all of them in our building! Cool, huh? It's like we're one big family - it's really nice! And most of them have dogs that Asia gets to play with, and everyone who knows her knows how big of a fan she is when it comes to playing with dogs! There is Rikki's pug, Titus, Tricia's two cocker spaniels Jericho and Chloe, and Paige's lab puppy, Belle! Then there is another pup next door but she is too little to play with the big dawgs - her name is Elle and she is a cocker spaniel/chiuaua mix! They're all such sweethearts! Tricia also has a cat that reminds me of my cat from back home - her name is Julie. Tricia's kitty is named Dudley and he is a he! =) Mark and I are doing well, Asia is well, my family is well, Mark's family is well ... we're all good!
