Catching up ...

So now that I've got some pictures up, I can catch you all up ...

Mark and I have been together for two and a half years now - that's some sort of record for the both of us! I've never felt this way about anyone before and it's great! We have our ups and downs but what relationship doesn't?!

So, I turned 21 last November ... I've been doing a good job of putting my age to the test with my box of wine and my friends! I still go to the University of North Texas, but I go to a community college (North Central Texas College) as well - just to get my core classes out of the way! I've changed my major too much to graduate on time, so here I am, hurrying to get done! I think I'll be graduating Spring of 2007 but who really knows! My major is Journalism, not sure what concentration yet, but I'd like to write for magazines; Travel, Cosmo, something fun like that!

I finally have a job believe it or not - I work in child care at the Brickhouse Gym in Denton! It's actually pretty fun! Mark's Uncle Mike owns the gym, therefore he is my boss! Kinda scary, but it's all working out rather nicely!

For those of you who know me, I still like to do things with Interior Design. Our apartment is small for all the things we have in it, so it's hard to make it 'home-y', but after a few months short of a year, it's beginning to come together. Neither of us are very happy here and plan on looking for houses closer to Lewisville soon! Our lease runs out August 31 so we are very excited!

Mark, on the other hand, is doing extremely well! This past Saturday he just celebrated his 24th Birthday, and the Saturday before that (May 14th) , he graduated from UNT with a BBA in Business: Entrepreneurship & Strategic Management. He's about to begin playing a lot of golf and see where his dream of going pro in golf will take him. We all know that he can do it, it's just a matter of time! Today we went to Las Colinas so he could put in his application at the Four Seasons Resort, and I ended up getting him to drive me through the houses (the interior design of my brain kicked in)! We felt so out of place because those houses are absolutely huge and couldn't be more gorgeous, but it got us all excited about our future.

Asia is a little over a year and a half now. I sware she's just like having a kid - we have become so attached to her! Boxers are the best dogs in the world ... especially Asia (sorry, guys, I'm a little partial)! We don't have a friend in the world who doesn't love her, it's great!

My parents are doing well - going through a few rough patches, but they are both handling things tremendously well! They have a lot on their plates taking care of both grandparents (Nannie from Weimar is in the nursing home with Alzheimers Disease and doesn't remember us, and Papa from Normangee is in the nursing home with a slight case of Alzheimers, but mostly just Dementia)! My parents bought a 5th wheel and a big 2500 GMC something and are leaving at 6am tomorrow morning for the entire summer. They are just going driving along the east coast, going as slow or as fast as they want. They deserve it! Happy camping, Mom & Dad! Be safe! We love ya'll!! =-)

This summer, Mark plans on playing a lot of golf, and I plan on doing a lot of school, working, and working out (after all, I do work at a gym)! We are going to take a few trips down to Weimar I'm sure, and try and take a trip or two down to Port Aransas ... we'll see how things pan out throughout the summer! =-)

Well, this should catch everyone up to date and some! Come back soon for more pictures and news!
